ただ、アニメ勢だけの人たちがどう受け取るのかは気になるけど。

正直、映画のストーリーに文句言いそうな人たちは、
もう1期の時点でこの作品見るのやめてると思う。
I’m pretty sure that most of the people who would have an issue with the plot of the movie stopped watching this series after the first season.

俺は完全アニメ勢。
正直、状況把握するのにWikiとかRedditの考察頼りだわ。
未アニメ化の内容がめちゃくちゃ多いのが本当にもったいない。
とはいえ、長寿シリーズだと追うのが大変なのも分かる。
10年以上やってると、昔のキャラや伏線とか普通に忘れるし。
それでも見続けてる理由は、魔法の理屈が好きだから。
作者、工学系というかDSP（信号処理）っぽい知識あるよね。
魔法を電気じゃなくて「サイオン粒子」として扱って、
波動関数理論とか『マトリックス』的な要素まで入れてる。
しかも魔法世界なのにエネルギー保存則もちゃんと説明してるのがすごい。
（等価交換が前提のFMAみたいな作品以外だとかなりレア）
あとは、いわゆる歩く核兵器みたいな存在を、
軍事設定の中でリアルに扱ってるところも好き。
Anime only here. I use wikis and reddit posts to pretty much orient myself on what’s going on. It’s a huge shame because there’s a lot of unadapted content.
But it’s hard to follow. But I suspect we’re all in a similar bandwagon when a series has been running for +10 years. There are characters or plot points I completely forgot from earlier seasons.
The reason I stick to the series is because I like the magic explanation. The author seems to have an engineering DSP background. Magic is basically “Psion Particles” instead of electricity, tons of wave function theory, + The Matrix. Author even covers how the principle of conservation of energy is preserved in a world with magic. That is extremely rare (except for shows where it’s a core concept like FMA with the law of equivalent exchange).
I also like how the series treats walking nukes in a realistic way with military setting.

楽しめてる限り、他はどうでもいいかな。

それでもまだ見続けたい気持ちはある。
今回がダメなら、これが最後のシーズンになるかも。
The last season was meh, the last movie was bad, but I still want to watch more. Might be my last season of the show if it’s not good.

劇場公開だから、配信に来るのがいつになるかは分からない。
Yotsuba Succession is a movie, not a TV series. It’s being released in theaters. I don’t know when it’s going to be released on streaming websites.

このシリーズ、まさに「ザ・アニメ」って感じ。
王道テンプレ盛り盛り、謎の近親ルート、
そして意味わからんくらい強すぎる主人公。
ここまで振り切れててバカバカしいからこそ、
逆にそれが最高なんだよな。
This series is quintessential “Anime”
So many tried and true tropes, weird incest plotline, and a ridiculously OP protagonist.
Just so absurd and I feel that’s what makes it so great

毎話ごとに、原作で省かれた部分を
長文考察で補完してくれてた人には、
ずっと感謝したかったんだよね。
I love this show and always wanted to thanked that person that wrote essays on the missing novel parts on each episode.

シリーズのピークだと思ってる。
In all seriousness this (Volume 16) is where I think the series reached it’s peak.

アニメ追いかけてこの話見る価値ある？
Sounds like the series goes downhill from here. I dropped off early into the first season. Does this volume work as an ending (and is the anime worth catching up on to watch this?) if one did want to drop out here?

継承編は確かに神だけど、
その後にももっと良い章が普通にあるよ。
No. It’s only getting better from here imo. While succession arc is absolute peak, there are better arcs further down.
