かぐや姫の元ネタの話を知ってれば分かると思うけど、ハッピーエンドにはならないんだよね。
で、百合ってだいたいハッピーエンドが前提なこと多いし……。
まあ、ナルトみたいに原作ストーリーを改変して、結果的に台無しにするって可能性もあるけど。

Either that or they do what Naruto did with the story, which was ruin it.

まあ、かぐや姫の昔話を知ってれば、ハッピーエンドじゃないのは分かるよね。
でもこれは現代風アレンジだし、必ずしも同じ結末になるとは限らないと思う。
「トニカクカワイイ」とか「かぐや様は告らせたい」でも、
竹取物語の悲しい結末をどうやって回避できるか、
現代社会、しかも宇宙開発がある世界ならどうなるか、みたいな描き方をしてたし。
結局は、続き待つしかないね。

I’m not so sure. It’s a modern retelling of the story yeah, but that doesn’t mean it’ll necessarily end the same. I’m reminded of how both Tonikawa Over the Moon for you and Kaguya-sama Love is War touch upon how you could have stopped or circumvented the original sad ending of the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, especially in a modern world that has access to space flight. So we’ll just have to wait and see

something I am worrying about is, there’s a rival boys group, this layout kida reminds me of Demon Slayers

作画も最高っぽいし、脚本さえやらかさなければ完璧だと思う。

Hopefully the writing doesn’t mess up, because the animation look amazing as well. This seems really fun.
