あらすじ
「夜と昼を別つ双子」には、封と解という特別な力が宿る──。
その伝承が残る村・東村に、夜と昼を別つ双子として生まれた兄ユルと妹アサ。
両親は下界へ行ったきり戻らず、ユルは日々狩りをして暮らし、
アサは座敷牢の中で「お務め」を果たしていた。
ときおり下界から商人のデラが訪れる、穏やかな日常。
しかしある日、東村の結界が破られ、謎の武装集団が襲来する。
村人たちが次々と殺される中、「本物のアサ」を名乗る女が現れ、
ユルの目の前でアサは命を奪われてしまう。
絶望の中、ユルはデラに導かれ、村の守り神であるツガイの左右様と契約。
武装集団を退けた後、ユルは村を捨て、下界へと逃れる。
下界でデラとハナに匿われたユルは、
「本物のアサ」が身を寄せる影森家と接触。
そしてアサと共に、消息を絶った両親を探す旅へ出ることを誓うのだった。

原作漫画だとかなり容赦ないし、飛び道具大好きだからな。
Definitely more like a gender swapped Hawkeye. My dude is ruthless in the manga and he loves projectile weapons.

What is this Arslan Senki/Juushin Enbu slander?

アルスラーン戦記は漫画版の作画担当だけだよ。
獣神演武も同じで、どちらも原作者ではない。
ハガレン、銀の匙、黄泉のツガイは、
彼女が原作・作画の両方を担当した作品。
She’s only the artist behind manga adaptation of Arslan Senki. Same with Juushin Enbu, only artist. With FMA, Silver Spoon and Daemons she wrote and drew the manga series.

原作小説があるのは分かるけど、
漫画版で誰か脚本家と組んでるわけじゃないでしょ？

Huh? Like obviously it’s an adaptation of an existing novel but it’s not like she’s working with a writer for the manga itself.

アルスラーンや獣神演武は原作者が別だからね。
The point is that they only listed the big titles she worked completely by herself on. Compared to Arslan or Juushin that she wasn’t the original writer of.

原作はまだ読んでないから断言はできないけど、
トレーラー見てて思ったのは、
鋼の錬金術師の最大の強みの一つだった
「脇役の95％が一瞬の出番でもクソかっこいい」
あの感じを思い出したってこと。
I haven’t read the Manga so it may be too early to say this but the trailer does remind me of one of the biggest strengths of Fullmetal Alchemist, the fact that 95% of the side characters were badass even in the small moments they were on screen.

原作マンガはめちゃくちゃ期待できる内容だよ。
ただ、月刊連載でまだストックが少ないのが不安で、
2期まで相当待たされるんじゃないかって心配してる。
もし1期が大ヒットしたら連載ペース上がるかもだけど、
まあ分からんよね。
Manga is super promising, thought there is not much there so I am worried we are going to be waiting a long time for a second season as the manga releases monthly.
Maybe if this season does really well it speed up the chapter releases but who knows
