It’s also funny cause in japanese it’s “Yasai” and the numbers also stand for the alphabet.

0:12で彼女がカメラに近づいた瞬間、ちゃんと声が少し大きくなってるんだよ！
サウンドデザインチームに拍手だわ。
People barely noticed this, but notice how she sounds noticeably louder when she gets closer to the camera at 0:12!

俺が音響演出に注目するようになったのは、
『化物語』1話がきっかけなんだよね。
阿良々木が一人称視点で喋る時と、
羽川視点で聞く時とで、声の聞こえ方が違うって気づいてさ。
ナレーションの話じゃなくて、
阿良々木が羽川に話しかけてる時、
まるで自分の頭蓋骨の中で声が反響してるみたいに聞こえるようにしてあるんだよ。
（しかもそのシーン、かぐや様でもオマージュされてる！）
あの瞬間に、「誰も気づかないような部分に、こんなに愛が込められてるんだ」って分かった。
I always pay attention to good sound design ever since Bakemonogatari episode 1 when I realized they made Araragi sound different when he speaks in first person vs hearing him from Hanekawa’s POV.
And I’m not talking about his narration, they literally made his voice as if it reverberates through our own skull when we’re in his POV talking to Hanekawa (the very scene that’s referenced in Kaguya-sama too!)
That’s when I realized how much love went into these things people barely noticed.

For me it was Keep your Hands off Eizouken and them literally talking about the sound design, but yeah, I also came into the thread thinking I’d mention this great sound design here but you beat me to the punch xD

OPMの2期と3期があまりにも悲惨だったせいで、
それ以降は「普通に良い音響」ですらありがたく感じるようになったわ。
I really appreciated great or even normal sound design after the disasterous OPM S2 and S3

作画も良くて、声優の演技も良いのに、
音響だけ全然気を使ってない作品、結構多い。
This is a thing that drives me crazy. Many series have good animation, even good voice acting but just no attention to sound design.

RPGツクールの効果音よりちょっとマシってレベルだったな。

ふと思ったんだけどさ、
声優って収録の時に絵コンテとかラフ映像見てるのかな？
それとも単に、
画面の動きに合わせてマイクに近づいたりして演技してるだけなんだろうか。
i do wonder, (because I can’t rmb if VAs have storyboards or rough animation cuts when they record), how much of this is just the VA mimicing the onscreen motion when they’re recording, getting closer to the mic?

ぶっちゃけ、この回ほぼASMRだった。
I did catch this, very good attention to detail by either the voice actor or sound tech. The entire episode was basically ASMR

when you heard people were complaining about the lack of frames in other animes so you put in 500 times more than needed just in case

This segment alone could make up the entire third season of One Punch Man
