5は日本では史上最高レベルで愛されてる作品だし、
3や初代と並んで、
史上最も影響力のあるJRPGの一つなのは間違いない。
それなのに、
現行機で遊べるのが10年以上前の
モバイル版しかないのはさすがにおかしい。
Makes sense, as 5 might quite be possibly the most beloved game of all time in Japan and certainly up there with 3 and the original for the most influencial JRPG of all time. Yet its only modern hardware release is a decade old mobile version.

新しい移植版くらいは出しそうだよな。

DS版はあったけど、
Switchでは出てないはずだし。
モバイルにはあるけどさ。
I could at least see them doing some kind of new port even if it’s not a remake (maybe technically a remaster) of V and/or VIII. Both had DS versions but I don’t think they’re on the Switch…? I know they’re on mobile.

一番思い出補正が強い作品だし、
天使とか世界樹の設定も大好きだった。
Im just hoping for IX 1 day, has the most nostalgia for me and i loved the angel/yggdrasil setting

問題なのは、
移植を出すと近いうちにリメイクを
出しづらくなるってことなんだよな。
特にDQ5は超人気作だし、
他をフルリメイクした後で
手抜き扱いされるようなことは
したくないと思う。
The problem there is any sort of port makes it harder to greenlight / release remakes in the near future, and I’m just not sure they’d want to “cheap out” on the very popular DQV after making full remakes for some of the others.

ドラクエ12がタイトル発表だけじゃなくて、
そろそろちゃんとした情報解禁されるのが一番の期待だけど、
それ以外に何をやるのかも気になるな。
7のリイマジネーション以外にも何かあるんだろうか。
Dragon Quest XII maybe finally getting a reveal beyond the title is of course the hope, but I’m curious what else they’ll do beyond that and VII’s reimagining.

いい加減そろそろ現行ハードで遊べるようになってほしい。
別にリマスターじゃなくてもいいから、
DSか当時の本体じゃなくても遊べる手段が欲しいだけなんだよ。
I really hope IV, V, VI, VIII, and IX are finally brought to modern hardware. Don’t even need a remaster just a way to play it that isn’t a Nintendo DS or the original system they were released on

いくつかはモバイルで出てるけど、
FFやクロノ・トリガーのモバイル→Steam移植が
かなり叩かれたのを見てるから、
ああいうのを急いで出すことはしないと思う。
それに、1〜3はHD-2Dでリメイクしたばかりだし、
ピクセルリマスター合集もやらなさそうだな。
天空シリーズのHD-2Dコレクションはぜひ欲しいけど、
言うほど簡単な話じゃないんだろうな……。
A bunch are on mobile but I think after the backlash of the FF and Chrono Trigger mobile to Steam ports they’re not going to rush into implementing those.
Probably won’t do a pixel remaster collection either since they just did those HD2D remakes of the original trilogy.
I’d definitely love a Zenethian trilogy HD2D collection but that’s still probably easier said than done…

ドラクエ8のモバイル版は、
正直言って完全に壊れてるレベル。
労力払って買う価値はない。
The dragon quest 8 mobile port is just plain broken and not worth any effort buying.

モバイルに出てる作品は多いけど、
FFやクロノ・トリガーの件で反発があったから、
それをそのまま移植するのは慎重になると思う。
でも、FFTの再リリースは本当に出来が良かった。
あれを見る限り、
最近の移植に対する姿勢が変わってきてるといいな。

Final Fantasy Tactics re-release was amazing, very well done. Hopefully it is an indicator of their outlook now on ports.

DQ11で戦闘中に自由に走り回れたの、
仕組み的には何の意味もなかったけど、
あれ結構好きだったんだよな。
完全に無駄な要素なのに、
そういう細かい演出があるから、
なんか妙に愛嬌のあるゲームに感じた。
I really liked how DQXI let you run around during combat but that it had absolutely zero mechanical effect. It was completely pointless, but for some reason little touches like that made the game so charming.
