I’ve been reading the light novel for a couple of years now. I’m so glad it’s getting an anime.

ラノベって文章は正直かなり微妙なの多いけど、
話自体は面白いこともあるから、俺はだいたい漫画かアニメ派なんだよね。
How is it?
I find most light novels to be pretty terribly written, but sometimes have interesting stories and why I stick to Manga/Anime adaptations myself.

個人的にはラノベは普通に良作だと思うよ。
神作ってほどじゃないけど、悪くもない。
今5巻まで読んでるけど、今のところ大きな事件や進展はなくて、
全体的にテンポはかなりゆっくり。
漫画版の1巻も読んだけど、正直そっちの方が好きかな。
Well the LN is good imo , it’s not great but not bad either , i have read 5 volumes so far , there hasn’t any big progress or event happen in the story yet , the pacing is kind of slow
I had also read the manga first volume and i like it more than LN

序盤の掴みは結構面白かったんだけどね。
ただ「作者がひたすら俺TUEEEキャラの幸せな日常を書きたい病」
っていう、かなり致命的な呪いを患ってる作品でもある。
そこ聞いてピンと来るなら、合うかどうかはもう分かると思うよ。
This one did have an interesting start, but it suffers from a particularly deadly curse of “author just wanted to write about an OP character living a good life”.
You can probably figure out whether or not it’s for you just off that.

ニア・リストンの原作ファンとしては、
同じ作者ってことで今期のクノンもかなり期待してたんだけどさ。
正直、クノンはかなりガッカリだった。
この2作品を同列に語るのは、個人的にはちょっと無理かな。
I should say that, as a fan of Nia Liston LNs, I was excited for Kunon this season since it has the same author.
However, Kunon has left me quite disappointed. I personally wouldn’t put these two series as comparable.

クノンは1話だけ観たけど、正直いくつかの点で微妙だったし。
でもニア・リストンはビジュアルもPVもめちゃくちゃワクワクする出来だね！
That’s good to hear, the episode I tried of Kunon was pretty not-great in a few ways, but the visual and PV for Nia Liston seem to be very exciting!

ジャンルも話のノリも全然違うから、
同じ作者だって言われるまで気づかなかったわ。
ニアは好きだけどクノンは合わない、って人がいても全然不思議じゃないし、
その逆もあるよね（ちなみに俺は両方好き）。
The genres and story beats are so different that I didn’t expected they were written by the same person.
It’s a bit funny that one can like Nia while not liking Kunon and viceversa (or be like me who likes both).

ラノベ2巻まで読んだよ。うーん……悪くはない、かな？
進行はかなりスローだし、タイトルと中身があんまり噛み合ってなくて、そこで読むのやめちゃった。
あと、期待しすぎない方がいい。
物語の大半はガチバトルより日常パート寄り。
主人公も、タイトルにある「無慈悲な神殺し」路線というより、
完全にアイドル・芸能人ルートを選んでる感じなんだよね。
アクションは一応あるし、1巻ラストはそれなりにスッキリしたけど、
もっとタイトル通りの展開が欲しかった。
文章自体はちゃんとしてるし、刺さる人には刺さる要素もある。
普通のアニメ化だと、たぶん2〜3巻あたりで区切りそう。
3巻以降がもう少しテンポ良くてアクション多めなら、後半は化けるかも。
媒体的にはアニメ向きな気もするしね。まあ様子見かな。
Hmm, I’ve read up to LN2 on this one. It’s…fine? It’s slow and the title didn’t really match the contents so I dropped it. Before you get too excited, a lot of the story is more about slice of life type stuff vs actual beatdowns.
The MC basically goes for a idol/celebrity role instead of full on “merciless god-killer” role suggested by the title. There is still some action and the end of LN1 was satisfying in a sense… I just wish there was more of what the title suggested.
It was still decently written and there are points that people will like. Given normal anime adaptations, I assume LN2-3 will be the stopping point. It might get more interesting in the later half if LN3 was a bit faster paced/had more action than LN1-2. Maybe the medium would be better suited to anime as as well. We will see I guess.

8巻まで読んでるけど、正直テンポは速くならないよ……。
話自体は好きなんだけど、やっぱり全体的にスローペースすぎる。
I have read up to 8th volume, and it dosen’t get faster… I like the story, but it is a bit too slow paced.

俺、白髪ヒロインに弱いんだよね。
しかもタイトル的に、どう考えても誰かボコボコにしそうだし。
A cute looking white haired anime girl is all that is needed to get me check this out atleast.
I clearly have a weak spot for anime girls with white hair.
Also the fact that going by the name, they will be kicking some ass.
